WAYNE GOLDSTEIN NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH FOR SONY PICTURES TELEVISION
CULVER CITY, CA, April 9, 2015 – Wayne Goldstein has been promoted to senior vice president of international research for Sony Pictures Television (SPT); it was announced today by Amy Carney, president, advertiser sales, strategy and research for SPT, to whom he will continue to report. In this new role, he will oversee all research activities in support of SPT’s international distribution business, as well as sales planning, digital ad sales and marketing. Goldstein will also continue to lead new media research for the company.
“With the digital proliferation rapidly transforming consumer behavior around the world, Wayne’s experience and insights across new media, along with his extensive track record here at SPT, make him the ideal choice to lead our international research team,” says Carney.
Goldstein was previously vice president of new media research for SPT, where he oversaw research and analytics for SPT’s digital networks, including Crackle, as well as the company’s interests in multiplatform streaming and SVOD. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, he served as director of ad sales research and sales planning for SPT, where he was responsible for audience analysis for the company’s syndicated programming. Goldstein began his career with SPT in 1999 as part of the U.S. distribution research group, ascending through various roles of increasing responsibility.
Goldstein is a graduate of Pomona College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
