SONY PICTURES TELEVISION BRINGS SPORTS JEOPARDY! FORMAT TO INTERNATIONAL MARKET
CANNES, France, October 13, 2014 — Sony Pictures Television (SPT) announced today the launch of Sports Jeopardy!, a new quiz show format that combines the excitement and prestige of the multiple Emmy® Award-winning quiz show Jeopardy! with the rich and diverse world of sports.

In addition, the U.S. version of Sports Jeopardy!, which is hosted by award-winning sportscaster Dan Patrick, is available to clients worldwide. The series has scored nearly one million streams since its September 24 debut on Crackle. Nearly half of the viewers who tuned in were new to the streaming service. The series is complemented by a popular Sports Jeopardy! mobile game, which is available to users around the globe through Apple’s App Store, Google Play and the Amazon App Store.
Sports Jeopardy! challenges contestants across a variety of subjects using a unique format whereby they must phrase the answer in the form of a question. Jeopardy!, the highly popular U.S. game show now in its 31st season, averages nearly ten million viewers each episode.
