Brazil, which produces 76 million tons of trash a year, recycles only three percent of its waste at a cost of nearly 8 billion Reais a year. At the same time, less than a quarter of the country's 5,000-plus cities have created recycling programs to combat the growing garbage problem. SPT Networks' Picture This campaign will educate people on the three R's - reduce, reuse and recycle - and give viewers an opportunity to create their own short videos highlighting simple ways to make an immediate difference. It is a call to action to create a lasting change for a cleaner Brazil.
